“The Mornings”

by Charis Tsevis

Speaking at TEDx Athens was both a painful but fun experience.

Painful because I had to say my entire story in just 18 minutes. And it’s usually common that it’s more difficult to be brief, right? The first version of my speech was 24 minutes. It wasn’t that hard to get it to 19. But it was quite painful to cut out those last 1or 2 minutes. After the talk though, I asked myself how I ever spoke for more than that amount of time. 18 minutes is the perfect duration of a story.

But participating in TEDx was also fun. It’s like a party for sited people. You have the opportunity to get in touch with a lot of positive energy. Most of all I enjoyed the spirit and the professional approach of the volunteers, especially the younger ones. Great job TEDx Athens!

Looking forward to the next event.

  1. A most inspiring talk coming “from the heart”, offered by a talented man whose wings have opened wide and now soars in the www and the wwW (world wide World) via the power of his work and the discovery of the power of the web. Wonderful! :-)
